This past weekend and today, SoundTree has been at the NCMEA 2010 Conference in Winston Salem, NC. Like we do for many of the shows we attend, we brought along our portable music technology lab, complete with computers, USB keyboard controllers, headphones, and tons of software for music educators to take for a test drive. SoundTree Managing Director Jim Frankel and Mid-Atlantic Accounts Manager Robin Hodson presented sessions at the show, and all of their handouts and materials can be accessed through www.soundtree.com/ncmea10. Anyone Can Make Music with Soundbeam – 2010 Tour Registration

SoundTree, Soundbeam UK, and TI:ME invite you to join us at one of our FREE* one-day Soundbeam workshops offered in the northeast US. Our workshops are designed for music educators and therapists who are interested in exploring how the Soundbeam system provides a medium through which even profoundly physically disabled or learning impaired individuals can become expressive and communicative using music and sound.
For folks who are new to the Soundbeam system, the workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to learn how the Soundbeam can be used in your own classrooms or therapy sessions. For current owners of the Soundbeam system, this workshop offers a chance to sharpen your Soundbeam skills.
The morning session of each workshop is Working with the Soundbeam 5. This session will include an introduction to what the Soundbeam is and how it works, and provide a working knowledge of how to navigate and use the system. The afternoon session of each workshop is Pracitcal Applications of the Soundbeam 5. This session will cover case studies and examples of the Soundbeam being used as a therapy device and used in the general music classroom.

CMS/ATMI 2010 National Conference
Once again, SoundTree will be out in full force at the upcoming CMS/ATMI National Conference this week in Minneapolis, MN. SoundTree is hosting the hands-on technology lab in Ballroom 1 and sponsoring the CMS Technology Pre-Conference on Wednesday.
In addition, SoundTree is sponsoring three sessions: Panel Discussion on 21st Century Music Technology Labs: Where Are We Headed? presented by Dr. Jim Frankel on Fri. Sept. 24th at 10am in Ballroom 1; Mobile Solutions for Music Technology Labs presented by Dr. Jay Dorfman on Fri. Sept. 24th at 1pm in Ballroom 1 and The New Look of Finale 2011 presented by Dr. Tom Rudolph on Sat. Sept. 25th at 4pm in Ballroom 1.
