Finding Funds
Music educators often cite funding as one of their biggest obstacles for obtaining music technology for their classroom. At SoundTree, we know how important it is for teachers to find funding for their music technology needs, either through a school district budget, a parent-teacher organization or educational foundation, or seeking funding from some of the many grant opportunities available for technology in schools. We also know that the time and effort required in the grant writing process can be overwhelming for busy music teachers - and often acts as a deterrent for seeking funds at all.
SoundTree is proud to offer an exclusive Grant Alert email that provides monthly updates on available and appropriate grants for funding music technology purchases. Just click on Grant Alert to subscribe. We also have a podcast on Finding Funds for Music Technology available for download.

In addition to our Grant Alert and Finding Funds podcast, we are very proud of a publication that we publish entitled "Finding Funds for Music Technology" by Dr. Thomas Rudolph. This easy-to-read guide to obtaining funding for music technology walks you through the entire process - everything from finding the right grant opportunity to writing a successful grant proposal. It should be required reading for anyone interested in the grant process. |
