Find out how SoundTree can help you teach music with technology.
Connect one end of a MIDI cable to the “MIDI OUT” port on the rear of the GEC
Connect the other end to the “MIDI IN” port of the Casio keyboard
Go back to your GEC and touch the “DISK” tab at the bottom of the touch-screen
In the middle of the screen you will see “MIDI Sys Exclusive Commands.” Select the “CTK-900” by touching it.
You should see a message indicating that the GEC is transmitting MIDI data, and the keyboard should say “BULK IN” on the front screen.
Once the messages leave, your data has been successfully transmitted.
