Both Windows and Macintosh operating systems are designed to detect software, hardware, or firmware updates automatically. However, if you believe there to be an update that has not been detected in this way, follow the steps below to install your updates. Your machines must have Internet access in order to download any updates.
Windows OS
- Choose START > ALL PROGRAMS
- At the top of your program list, choose the option "WINDOWS UPDATE"
- You will now connect to the Internet where you can check for new updates.
Macintosh OS
- Navigate to the Apple Menu by clicking on the 'blue apple icon' at the top-left of your computer's menu bar
- Choose "SOFTWARE UPDATE"
- When the application opens your machine will be scanned for any available updates.
